Skin, Beard & Hair Care for Men: The 2-Minute Ritual

Katari Géran geranium water, Hoba jojoba oil and Argil green clay with a linen bag

Every Katari product works for men, for skin, beard and hair. No special "for him" bottle needed. What men usually need is a routine short enough to actually do. So here it is: two minutes in the morning, two at night.

Morning: 2 minutes

  1. Rinse. Warm water is enough most mornings.
  2. Mist Géran. Cool, green and herbal, not floral. It wakes skin up.
  3. Press in 2-3 drops of Hoba. Face, and through the beard. It absorbs in a minute and isn't greasy.

Shaving: the best aftershave is not alcohol

Shave over a few drops of Hoba instead of foam for a close, smooth glide. Then mist Géran straight onto shaved skin: it cools the burn and calms the look of redness and razor bumps, and you won't smell like a flower shop. Finish with one drop of Hoba.

Night: 2 minutes

  1. Oil-cleanse with Hoba. Massage a few drops into dry skin to lift sweat, sunscreen and the day, then wipe off with a warm, damp cloth.
  2. Mist Géran.
  3. Pick your oil: Black Seed if your skin is oily or breakout-prone, Hoba if it's normal or dry.

Beard and scalp

  • Beard oil: Hoba daily for softness and shine. For a fuller-looking beard, work a drop of Black Castor into the roots at night.
  • Dry, flaky-feeling scalp: massage Henna or Black Castor into the scalp an hour before washing, or overnight.
  • Once a week: an Argil masque, in the shower, five minutes. It pulls out the oil and grime that cause clogged pores.
