Recipe: Green Tea & Kefir Hand Masque
Hands get hit by everything: cold, heat, wind, sun, dish soap and cleaning products. When they feel dry, tight and uncomfortable, this soothing masque brings them back.
You'll need
- 1 teaspoon loose green tea
- 1/4 cup just-boiled water
- 1/2 cup plain kefir
- 1 teaspoon Granate or Rosehip Oil
How to make it
- Brew. Steep the green tea in the hot water for 5 minutes, then let it cool.
- Mix. Stir the cooled tea with the kefir and the oil.
- Apply. Massage generously into hands, especially the knuckles and cuticles.
- Wait. Leave on 20 minutes, then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.
Overnight version: after rinsing, massage in a few drops of Granate or Hoba and slip on cotton gloves. You'll wake up to much softer hands.
Use it daily or every few days until hands feel comfortable again. Good for everyone's hands.
