Recipe: Rich Castor & Honey Masque for Thirsty Skin

Dropper of Katari Hoba pure jojoba oil over a hand-blown glass amphora on an olivewood board

Dehydrated skin is thirsty for water, not just oil. It feels tight, looks a little dull, and fine lines show more. This rich, creamy masque gives it both, then Hoba locks it in.

You'll need

  • 2 tablespoons cottage cheese
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon Black Castor Oil
  • 1 teaspoon honey

How to make it

  1. Mix. Mash everything together into a thick, creamy paste.
  2. Apply. Smooth onto clean, slightly damp skin, avoiding the eyes.
  3. Wait. Leave it on for 20 minutes.
  4. Seal. Rinse with warm water, mist with Roseau, and press in a few drops of Hoba while skin is still damp.

Patch test anything new on your inner forearm first. Skip any kitchen ingredient you are sensitive to, and keep food-based masques fresh: mix them right before you use them.
