Duties and taxes aren't included in shipping. Every country sets its own, and your carrier may collect them before delivery.

We stand behind everything we make, unconditionally. Opened, used, last week or last year, there's no time limit. If you're not happy for any reason, we'll refund or replace it, with a prepaid return label at our cost.

Each oil, water, and powder is exactly one thing. Our Rosehip is rosehip oil, and our Roseau is rose water. There are no fillers, carriers, fragrance, or added preservatives.

We don't buy from resellers. Every product is sourced directly by our team from artisans we've known for years and support directly.

All of our oils are cold-pressed in Egypt, except Barie, which comes from Tunisia. Argil clay is hand-harvested in Tunisia's Atlas Mountains, our flower waters are distilled from Tunisian roses and geranium, and our perfumes are made in Grasse, France.

Because quality has a real cost.

We've been sourcing Mediterranean ingredients directly from artisans since 2010, and one thing we can tell you with confidence: you can't sell exceptional rose water or Hoba oil for $5 and still do it right.

It takes far more to produce a high-quality ingredient, ship it across the world, pay tariffs, pack it in hand-blown glass instead of plastic, and bottle it in-house with care.

And because it's pure, a little goes a long way. At 2-3 drops per use, a 1 oz bottle lasts most people 2-3 months or more. If you layer several oils, each bottle can last 4 months or longer.

Katari isn't certified organic as a brand. Some of our raw materials and processes are certified, wherever certification is available. Our ingredients come from small farms and wild harvests using traditional methods.

Yes. We're certified cruelty-free, and every product is plant- or mineral-based, with no animal ingredients or by-products. Our products are tested only by time, tradition, and generations of Mediterranean wisdom.

Pure oils and powders contain no water, so there's nothing for bacteria to grow in. Our oils and flower waters stay naturally stable for about 2 years when kept away from light and heat.

We're plastic-free by design. Every bottle and jar is hand-blown glass with a natural cork. The only plastic is the spray top on our flower waters, added because customers asked for it.

Because each bottle is blown by hand, small bubbles, slight size differences, and uneven frosting are normal. No two are alike.

Three simple steps: cleanse with Hoba oil or Argil clay, hydrate with Roseau or Geran flower water, and seal with an oil. Once or twice a week, add an Argil masque or Poudre de Barie exfoliation.

The Nourish Ritual is for dry or mature skin. The Clear Skin Ritual is for oily or breakout-prone skin. The Balance Ritual is for combination skin. Our Travel Kits come in every skin type plus Hair, Brows & Lashes, and our Tester Kits let you try 6-7 oils before committing.

Usually 2-3 drops for your face. More isn't better. If your skin still feels oily after 10 minutes, use less next time.

Oil seals in water. Pressing oil into skin that's damp from Roseau or the shower helps it absorb faster, feel lighter, and go further.

Yes. Go from lightest to richest: Hoba, then Granate, then Rosehip. Two at a time is plenty.

Yes. Hoba and Black Seed are light and won't clog pores. Many customers with oily skin find it feels more balanced once it stops being stripped.

Yes. Apply serums or actives first, let them absorb, then mist with a flower water and seal with oil.

Give any new ritual 4-6 weeks. Skin renews on its own cycle, so add one product at a time and stay consistent.

Yes. Henna and Black Castor are made for scalp, hair, brows, and lashes. Hoba, Granate, and Rosehip are lovely on ends, cuticles, and dry spots. And Hoba makes a great beard oil.

Nuit Sicilienne is warm and seductive, with bergamot, nutmeg, white flowers, cedar, patchouli, and vanilla. Amour d'été is a romantic floral, with orange flower, lily of the valley, jasmine, rose, and white musk.

Both are alcohol-free oil perfumes made in Grasse, France. Scent is personal, so try a sample first.

Yes. Our products are single-ingredient, cold-pressed or gently distilled, and gentle enough for even the most reactive skin. Hoba, Roseau, and Geran are the gentlest places to start.

We always recommend a patch test with any natural ingredient, since personal sensitivities can happen with even the gentlest one.

Apply a small amount to your inner forearm or behind your ear once a day for 2-3 days. If you see redness, itching, or swelling, skip that product and let us know. We'll help you find a better fit.

Our single-ingredient products are gentle, and most are suitable even for the most sensitive skin, including during pregnancy. Many of our customers use Hoba and our flower waters throughout pregnancy.

As with every Katari product, we recommend a patch test first. If you have a high-risk pregnancy or specific concerns, check with your doctor or midwife.

The name is the full ingredient list: jojoba, rosehip, pomegranate seed, prickly pear seed, black cumin seed, castor bean, henna leaf, rose, geranium, or green clay. Our flower waters naturally contain a trace of their plant's essential oil, and our perfumes are blends of essential oils and plant aromatics.

If you are allergic to a specific plant or to essential oils, skip that product, and feel free to ask us before ordering.

Yes. None of our products are made from tree nuts or peanuts. Jojoba is a seed wax, not a nut, and our Denver filling studio doesn't handle any nut oils.

Many customers with sensitive, reactive, or breakout-prone skin love Katari for how gently it soothes and comforts, and estheticians use our products in their treatments, too. For a diagnosed skin condition, keep working with your dermatologist alongside your ritual.

Stop using the product and rinse with cool water. If you have swelling, trouble breathing, or a severe rash, seek medical care right away. Then message us. We'll make it right.

Oils & Barie Powder: shipped within days of pressing and at their best for 2 years. Have an older oil? Mix it with raw sugar for a lovely body scrub.

Flower waters: 2 years, though they honestly keep their scent and benefits even longer.

Argil clay: timeless, as long as it's kept dry in an airtight container. Once mixed with water, use it the same day.

Perfumes: at least 2 years. Like wine, oil perfumes keep maturing, so a deepening scent over the months is completely normal.

Keep oils and perfumes away from direct light, heat, and bathroom humidity. A drawer or cabinet is perfect, while a sunny windowsill is not.

Yes. Sediment is a natural part of the pressed seed or plant, just like in good olive oil. It means the product wasn't stripped by heavy filtering. Just give it a gentle swirl.

We bottle in small batches from different harvests, so color and scent shift slightly with each crop. That's the sign of a real, unblended ingredient.

Yes. Our 1 oz oils and Travel Kits are under the 3.4 oz TSA carry-on limit. The 4 oz sizes belong in checked luggage.
