Recipe: Aloe, Oat & Castor Heel Masque

Dropper of thick Katari black castor oil over a hand-blown glass amphora on an olivewood board

This is the gentle cousin of our lemon heel treatment. No acid, nothing to sting, just softening ingredients your feet will love.

You'll need

  • 2 tablespoons aloe juice
  • 2 tablespoons cooked, cooled oatmeal
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon Black Castor Oil

How to make it

  1. Mix. Stir everything into a thick paste.
  2. Apply. Spread over clean heels and any rough spots.
  3. Wrap. Pull on cotton socks and wrap your feet in a warm blanket. Warmth helps everything soak in.
  4. Rinse. After 20-30 minutes, rinse with warm water and finish with a few drops of Hoba.

The most important thing for happy feet? Shoes that fit. Then water, a balanced diet and regular upkeep. Miracles in skincare are simple.
