Why should I use glass for mixing my beauty recipes?

Simple. Glass is inert, it is neutral and not reactive to anything you put in it, so it will not alter pH of your ingredients - which is by far the most important aspect of blending ingredients.
It does not seep micro-plastic particles and affect your health or the planet.
It is infinitely recyclable or just goes to sand from which it came. Full circle!

Can I wash this glass in a dishwasher?

Yes, it Pyrex quality glass and it is dishwasher safe. As all glass it is fragile, so please be careful.
