Argil is harvested by hand from an ancient seabed in a quarry so remote there are no roads to it. Sun-dried only — never kiln-fired. Industrial clays are processed at 500°C+, which destroys the mineral ion exchange capacity. Argil's solar drying preserves the "living" mineral structure — its ability to exchange its own magnesium and calcium ions for the toxins and excess sebum in your pores. At 4.7% iron (5–9× more than pharmacy clays), it activates microcirculation to restore the dull, uneven tone that perimenopausal skin develops as cell turnover slows.

In Tunisia, the same rose water is added to coffee and pastries. For perimenopausal skin, it performs two critical jobs: restoring pH 4.5–5.5 (your skin's acid mantle) after tap water's pH 7–8 strips it every morning, and strengthening capillaries through quercetin glycosides — directly addressing the visible redness and rosacea flares that accompany hormonal fluctuation.
The science: pH 4.5–5.5 · Phenylethyl alcohol inhibits elastase and collagenase — the enzymes that degrade collagen and elastin. Molecular weight <200 Da means it penetrates the stratum corneum and acts as a penetration enhancer for every oil applied after it, multiplying absorption up to 3× (NCBI PMC4054083). Reset the acid mantle
Mist Roseau onto clean, damp skin. Let it settle 30 seconds. This restores pH 4.5–
5.5 after tap water strips it — and opens the skin's pathway for the oil to follow.

Feed and balance
While skin is still damp from Roseau, press 2 drops of Hoba Oil into face and neck.
Its liquid wax esters mirror your natural sebum — rebalancing what perimenopause
