The Katari Sponge is a farm-raised silk sponge harvested sustainably from the Atlantic Ocean waters of Tarpon Springs, Florida. Unlike synthetic sponges, it is biodegradable, long-lasting, and naturally resistant to bacteria. Why farm-raised sponges are better than wild ones?

Mediterranean has been long over-harvested and wild sponges almost went extinct. Farm-raised sponges have the same qualities as they grow in the ocean, but they are a more sustainable option.

Is this sponge suitable for baby's skin?

Yes. The silk sponge is incredibly soft and non-irritating, making it perfect for sensitive skin, newborns, and anyone who needs gentle cleansing.

How do I care for my sponge?

Rinse thoroughly after each use, squeeze out excess water, and let it air dry. With proper care, your Katari Sponge will last for months.

This little sponge is very delicate and it is not intended for a use for a very long time. We suggest getting a few on rotation or just replacing a sponge that starts falling apart.
